The energies are high with anxiety and lots of chatter about the upcoming election. Add in the additional layers of difficulties like canceling Halloween, the planetary retrogrades, COVID, and the collectives personal shit, too, and we have ourselves a full-on stuck in a muck type of vibe going on. In the last few days, I've been feeling it. My nervous system is on one hell of a rollercoaster. The overall sense of everything right now is YUCK. Tensions are high and feel as if we're all walking on eggshells. So here is the thing in all this muck, I challenge you to find the joy and gratitude in your life. Why? Remember this: even on your worst day; there is someone in this world that would change spots with you in an instant. You might want to read that again and pause. Really think about that. It's sage wisdom from my older brother that helped me reframe my life when I hit the lows. It's completely 100% human to have lows and highs. What goes up, must come down. As above, so below. These sayings exist because we in a dimension where polarity exists.

So for the next week, while the presidential race is occurring (and I pray you voted), try to look around and give gratitude for what you do have. This exercise will shift your day and tip you into joy. Plus, those you interact with after will catch a glimpse of that high vibe you have going on. For me, it's a daily morning practice with a good friend of mine. We exchange voice notes first thing in the morning to say what we are grateful for. Not sure if you want an accountability partner? Try it solo with these options: morning pages, take voice memos on your phone (my favorite form of therapy), or sing it out loud while you're in lockdown or your car. Take the challenge and see how it shifts your entire day and perspective. I promise you this ritual will expand your capacity to enjoy the present moment and guide you (as well as the collective) to a higher frequency.
