People Are Talking About Our Instagram!

It's nice to receive good news on a Monday, right? Well, today held some great surprises that I had to share. As Sam can attest, I've been devoting much of my time to our instagram. This app has been such a positive social media tool for me mainly because I've had the great fortune of meeting fabulous people I follow in real life. So to challenge myself, I've been working on my iphone photography as a way to practice composition for my photography work in the B&G Studio. It's kind of nerve racking to put yourself out there but it feels good to see some of the instagram users I follow appreciate my work as much as I do theirs. Over the weekend, LA Diaries shared with their audience one of my favorite photos of Sam forging the LA River (and no we didn't find any pink peppercorns). The surprises continued today with an alert that Darling Magazine took a photo of me—which at first had me worried because I haven't been to the salon since January but luckily it was the quick snap from my morning ride en route to the studio to meet one of my favorite photographers Christina Felice. Speaking of, have you seen the beautiful photo she took over the weekend? It's GORGEOUS! Lastly and probably the most epic moment of my day: VSCO Grid selected a photo from a recent instameet-up held at the B&G Studio for Made with MAP where I got to meet Christopher Aaron, who by the way is an AMAZING stylist and absolute doll. So why am I sharing all this? Because it's proof that if you set an intention and really get clear on what it is, you can attain it. Plus, who knew this little app would have such a great impact on my life. It's the magic of technology. ;)

Have you had a positive impact enter your life via instagram? If so, I'd love to hear in the comments below and don't forget to leave your instagram URL so we can connect.
