to the colorful journal of Marissa Berrini, creative director, artist and curator living in Los Angeles. Launched in 2010, Marissa's online journal tells of adventures with her husband Sam, their fur kids, the occasional cocktail creation and lots of conversations with inspiring people. This blog serves to celebrate tiny victories, inspiration for those times you're stuck in a rut and bring together a community that wants more than a perfectly curated feed of eye candy. Sometimes you just got to throw it out there and see where it goes!

Keeping Tabs on Singer Jesse Woods: BTR Interview

Jesse Woods on BTR In June we discovered soulful signer Jesse Woods with the release of Gold in the Air  (which we've been replaying over and over this summer). So when we saw that Jesse dropped by BreakThru Radio for a live performance of Danger in the Dance Hall and QA with host DJ Maia, we had to share. The lo-fi folk style is perfect for enjoying the last few weeks of summer that are left. His full album, Get Your Burdens Lifted, dropped on August 6th and the coolest part is how he recorded it in his all-analog studio located in Austin on 2 inch tape. Check out the interview and live session below and for the full recording from BTR interview, you can find it here.
