Adventure: Our Backyard and A Bunch of Peach Blossoms

Sam and I have a weekly date that involves bikes, coffee and the farmers' market. Usually this date means we'll pick up some items for dinner but recently my heart skipped a beat when I saw some incredibly gorgeous peach blossoms. I rarely express interest in flowers or plants, as I have the worst green thumb known to man, but Sam could see that I wasn't going to take no for an answer. Thankfully my bicycle has 2 big baskets. Talk about a scene: crazy hat (see below) and a basket full of blossoms. Once home, I grabbed the camera because these beauties weren't going to last forever. This also allowed a chance for our 3 mischievous fur kids, who love sneaking out of the house every chance they get, to jump into the mix. Sadly, I couldn't get a photo worthy of Kukui favorite pastime of rolling herself down the driveway—that butterball is too fast!

Now that I've shared with you our weekly tradition, I'd love to hear yours. For us, this farmers' market adventure means slowing down from a busy work week and spending quality time together. Love Sundays!
