to the colorful journal of Marissa Berrini, creative director, artist and curator living in Los Angeles. Launched in 2010, Marissa's online journal tells of adventures with her husband Sam, their fur kids, the occasional cocktail creation and lots of conversations with inspiring people. This blog serves to celebrate tiny victories, inspiration for those times you're stuck in a rut and bring together a community that wants more than a perfectly curated feed of eye candy. Sometimes you just got to throw it out there and see where it goes!

Artspeak: Joshua Citarella

It's seems everyone has the future on their mind lately, from space themed dance parties to Coachella's ginormous moon man, it only seems fitting that the futuristic work of Joshua Citarella would enter my newsfeed. Immediately I fell in head over moon boots in love with Citarella's art—the New York based photographer and digital artist which I stumbled upon thanks to Bullet's Q&A. His work has a surreal vibe I can't get enough of and he provides a variety of work that got him noticed by the Gods of denim, Levi's, for their Made and Crafted project. I definitely will have Citarella on my radar as he's proven in a matter of seconds he's a talent beyond a one trick pony show of frail models and everyday objects. See for yourself here.
