{ Make Music Pasadena } Time to Enjoy the Weekend with This Spotify Playlist

Make Music Pasadena 2013 #music Saturday is BIG if you love music. Tomorrow is the Make Music Pasadena festival. Last year we thought the line-up was unreal and this year blew us out of the water. In order to get you pumped, Sam and I have created a spotify playlist complete with Tanlines, Youngblood Hawke, YACHT, The Peach Kings, We are Scientists and many more of the bands that will be playing. For the complete line-up check out our event page.

The best part of the festival is how easy it is to get there via public transportation. The team behind Make Music Pasadena have supplied you with all the information you need to take the Metro—making it easy for you to get down there without the stress of parking. Metro guide is located here.

Plus they are making the event affordable, asking for a $5 donation which beats out any Coachella prices we've seen lately. Be sure to donate to help the tradition to keep going.

Since there are a ton of great bands, we thought it would be helpful to share our top acts to see during the festival. Be sure not to miss these bands:

The Peach Kings Been dying to see them live for the last year since they played SOFAR. Great duo from LA.

YACHT I saw them last year at the Bootleg and the energy level was amazing. Be prepared to dance!

Hunter Hunted They played SOFAR last month which we missed but our good friend Lau says they are spectacular.

A House of Lions Our friend, Renee of Oh DeLawder, never misses a show and we were lucky enough to go with her to their performance at Hotel Cafe a couple of years ago. Definitely do not miss.

Las Cafeteras Another band we found via SOFAR, this energetic group will have you singing and clapping nonstop. Plus they have the most unusual instruments.

Hasta La Vista May. Bring on June!
